Permeability under low and high Fluid/Gas temperature regimes

This Rock Permeability Test system is designed to run the permeability test for the fluids or gasses under a temperature regime which is independent from the temperature of the core specimen inside triaxial cell.some of our rock triaxial testing systems can be upgraded to conduct permeability tests using various methods, including steady-state, transient, and pulse-decay permeability.Permeability measurements are performed using one or a combination of two pumps. These pumps apply different pressures at each end of the sample, with the pressure decay at both ends measured over time. A set of end caps for permeability tests is available for each specimen diameter.

  • STEADY-STATE PERMEABILITY:
    This method relies on a constant pressure gradient and requires two separate pore pressure pumps, which create the pressure gradient across the specimen at the top and bottom. The test is conducted using either two separate pumps or our Twin version.
  • TRANSIENT PERMEABILITY:
    This method requires a single pore pressure pump, which controls the pore pressure at the top of the specimen and monitors the pore pressure response at the bottom.

GEOsys Software for user defined freely programmable test standard procedures and complex test sequences via structured Windows operations on a graphic user interface.
Through a series of menus, this provides quick access to all the controls needed for test set ups and follows standard test sequences.
The software is able to create an unlimited number of test stages with interactive and calculated parameters for closed-loop, real-time control. An unlimited number of control and measuring channels can be simultaneously controlled.
