Large Triaxial Device up to 1000mm sample's Diameter

The Ultra large-scale triaxial testing systems is a unique customised systems configured based on the testing requirements of rockfill materials. It is for the determination of meaningful shear strength parameters is the best method compared to other existing methods for determining strength properties. It is used to evaluate landfill stability and to achieve the above-mentioned parameters.

The loading frame is servo-hydraulic and can apply up to 5000 kN load on samples with a diameter of up to 1000 mm under cell pressure up to 3 MPa.

 

The wide column spacing enables accommodation of large cell of 1000mm in diameter. The load frame features a pneumatic sliding system, which allows easy movement of the triaxial cell out of the loading area, making test setup handling easier for the operator.

The powerful multifunctional GEOsys software supports all test procedures, providing easy access to all testing sessions.
